Human nature is, at its core, impatient.

We are creatures drawn to the allure of the destination, mesmerised by the image of ourselves at the peak of Mastery.

But the road to that summit is steep and unrelenting, paved with years of repetition, trial, and inevitable failure.

And so, driven by an almost instinctive resistance to struggle and an innate sense of restlessness, we search for ways to leap ahead, to bypass the slow grind, to seize the rewards of expertise without enduring the process that forges it.

However, in this pursuit of shortcuts, we only end up sabotaging ourselves.
