Humans are extremely susceptible to the moods, emotions, and even the ways of thinking, of those in their vicinity.

The incurably unstable and unhappy possess a particularly strong infecting power because their characters and emotions are so intense.

Moreover, they often present themselves as victims, making it difficult to see their miseries as self-inflicted.

Before we realise the real nature of their problems, we have been infected by them.

All of their deep-rooted issues and negative traits are now ours.

Thankfully, this notion remains true for the opposite types.
