We often presume that our friends are far more reliable and trustworthy than our enemies.
This of course holds true in a number of instances, especially when we involve long-term friends who have proven themselves to be loyal and genuine.
However, contrary to conventional wisdom, a significant amount of time it is our friends, not our enemies, who in fact betray us.
