Mastery in its final form is often described broadly as the power of intuition.

Masters, through sudden and immediate moments of impressive clarity, are capable of making quick and powerful connections to their environment, feeling and thinking their way inside of things and circumstances, without the need for words or formulas.

Whilst this general assessment provides a fairly adequate view of what reaching a state of Mastery looks like, a significant flaw in this interpretation remains.

By subscribing to this vague definition of Mastery, we incorrectly hold the belief that this dynamic is exclusively instinctive, that a Master’s sense of intuition has transcended all rationality and conscious thought.

This notion overlooks entirely the true nature of the phenomenon in question.
