Death is naturally our greatest fear.
The prospect of losing consciousness, of our whole world going dark, of the lessons and the wisdom and the memories we have accumulated simply disappearing into the abyss, is profoundly overwhelming.
Even the most brave among us struggle to stoically embrace death.
As we move through life, it becomes difficult to see death as anything more than a burden.
What good does death ever bring into our lives, we ask ourselves?
As such, we decide to ignore it, pretending as if death is nothing more than an abstract and irrelevant illusion, one that we will deal with when the time comes.
The truth, however, is this: death, if approached from the correct direction, can actually enhance our lives greatly.
